Macon & Lesquoy Cumulus Cloud Hand-Embroidered Lapel Pin

A small cumulus cloud built from spirals of silver bullion thread, hand-embroidered by Parisian house Macon & Lesquoy. The maker calls it a silver lining. Each coil is wound and stitched separately, which is what gives the cloud its dense, cumulus-like volume.

• Worked in cannetille, a fine bullion metal thread wound into a spiral, cut to length and embroidered like beads
• Silver-toned thread on a black embroidered ground
